Susan Edgmon, an award winning
artist, began painting in 1996. By her
second painting, she knew art was
going to be her destiny. She considers
her style to be "realistic, with a flair."
Subjects include all things in nature
such as flowers, animals, landscapes
and people. Her originals and prints are
in collections in the USA, as well as
seven foreign countries. She is a
signature member of the Artists of
Northwest Arkansas and the Ozark
Pastel Society. Her paintings have been
published in two books, "The Best of
American Pastel, Vol II" and "The Best
of American Watermedia, Vol II." Susan
teaches workshops and classes at her
studio and gallery, Edgmon Art, in
Gravette, Arkansas.
"Painting has brought an acute awareness of the joy and wonderful beauty that is all around
us every day, no matter the weather or the season. You don't need a large landscape to
appreciate the beauty in the world; you can find it in an area as small as a single flower."

In addition to painting, Susan has taken her experience as an artist to create, design and patent a unique Plein Aire and
travel box. The Edgmon Easel Box is a combination easel and storage box that mounts on a camera tripod. Each box is
custom made out of Alder at the family woodshop in beautiful northwest Arkansas. Each is a piece of art. They are made
by Artists for Artists. She has traveled with groups of artists to France and Italy to paint on location using the Edgmon
Easel Box. For more information, visit http://www.edgmonart.com or e-mail Susan directly at:
