Rick Cook
Rick's love of art began at an early age and continued with
UAFS art classes. His enjoyment of the outdoors is
reflected in his art subjects. Furniture, wall art, and table art
are hand-carved or lathe worked primarily using natural
wood tones. In addition, he paints landscapes in oils. His
art has shown in several galleries and art shows including
The Arkansas Studies Institute Gallery in Little Rock,
Arkansas. A wood sculpture, Autumn Trails in Arkansas,
was in the Governor's 2009 Arkansas Artist Calendar and
shown with Senator Mark Pryor's, A Celebration of
Arkansas Artists, in 2009. A wood sculpture is on
permanent display at Mt. Magazine Lodge.
Rick and his wife Pam have one son, Ryan who is happily married to Shalee. Rick and Pam are also the
proud grandparents of Natalee 3 and Drake 1-month. For more information on Rick's work, e-mail Rick at
