Miriam Krone grew up in Toronto,
Ontario. She spent her formative years
playing outdoors. Although she
showed a talent for art early on,
Miriam's thirst for knowledge about the
living world led her to pursue a career
in environmental education. In 1987,
she moved to Missouri where she lives
on a small farm in the northern Ozarks.
After 20 years in outdoor education, she returned to school to follow her dream of studying art. Watercolor became her passion. Miriam's attention to detail and focus on the individuality and beauty of living things is evident in her paintings. Currently she exhibits her award winning art in many art fairs and shows around the Midwest.
