Although I studied art in high school and college, I worked in Advertising as an Account Executive and writer for more than 25 years. After my husband Fred and I moved to Arkansas in 2001, I took classes in drawing, pastel and design. Pastel, acrylic, collage and photography are my mediums. While I have never met a medium that I didn't like, pastel is my favorite because I feel so connected to the work and the colors are magnificent. |
I also love collage, and this year I am participating in an International Collage Exchange in New Zealand for the first time. As a member of the Area Art Club, Artists of the Ozarks, Bull Shoals Art Club and Hill Country Art Gallery, I participate in many local art shows and exhibits.
