The first 57 years of my life were
spent in Western Illinois. My
husband and I moved to Arkansas in
1998 when we retired. It was then
that I realized a lifelong dream of
taking art lessons. I took lessons for
approximately 7 years; the rest was
self-taught. I work in pastels, oils
and colored pencil. My favorite
subjects are portraits, pet portraits
and still life. I have won numerous
awards at local art shows and was
featured in the Harrison Arkansas
