Barbara Chappell
Barbara Chappell was born and raised in West
Texas. As an adult she has lived and vacationed in
several states. When she visited the Ozarks, she
knew this was where she wanted to retire.
Barbara has always loved "Wood Art." In her travels to the Caribbean Islands and down the Amazon, she collected "found wood," native wood carvings and other wood souvenirs.
After retiring to Peel, Arkansas in 2005, she focused her efforts in wood carving and working with unusually shaped "found wood."
Her carving talent has earned her a "Best of Show" and numerous blue ribbons in the county, district and State fairs. She has also displayed her art at various art festivals in the Ozarks.
