Palette Art League member receives awards.
Palette Art League member, Susan Edgmon of Gravette, Arkansas recently won several awards on her pastel paintings. At the Arkansas Pastel Society show held in Little Rock at the Thea Foundation Gallery, she won third place overall on her pastel painting "French Lady I."
Edgmon also wins big at the "Pastel Panorama," a pastel show hosted by the Ozark Pastel Society is an annual show held at the Art Center Of the Ozarks in Springdale.
At this show, Susan won the Postcard Award for her pastel Painting "Flaming Lily II" which also received the 2nd place award in the Still Life and Floral category. In the miniature category, her "Rose-Pink Beauty" won first place. The show runs through Dec 15, 2010.
Edgmon is featured in The Art & Artisans of the Ozarks volume one, book published by the Palette Art League.
